Mangaluru: Renowned Mangalorean entrepreneur, philanthropist, and community leader Mr Leo Rodrigues, President of the Konkani Cultural Organization (KCO) in Abu Dhabi, visited the Administrative Office of MCC Bank on Monday, August 11, 2025. He was joined by Mr CA Valerian Dalmeida, Vice President of KCO, and Mr Frankline D’Cunha, Pearl Jubilee Convenor of KCO.
The delegation was warmly received by Sahakara Ratna Anil Lobo, Chairman of MCC Bank, along with the Directors and senior management. Mr Rodrigues, a respected NRI businessman and long-standing MCC Bank member, was felicitated with a floral bouquet. In his welcome address, Mr Lobo praised Mr Rodrigues for his philanthropic contributions, which include aiding underprivileged families, supporting educational and charitable institutions, and empowering NGOs and community initiatives.
The Chairman also acknowledged Mr CA Valerian Dalmeida and Mr Frankline D’Cunha, appreciating their longstanding cooperation with the Bank, including providing space for the Bajpe Branch operations.
Addressing the gathering, Mr Rodrigues expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and lauded MCC Bank’s dedication to community service. He assured continued support from himself and KCO in strengthening the Bank’s NRI outreach programmes. He also commended the modern facilities and professional ambience of the Bank’s administrative office, wishing the management continued success.
Mr CA Valerian Dalmeida echoed similar sentiments, extending thanks for the hospitality and inviting the Bank’s leadership to visit Abu Dhabi. He pledged full cooperation in facilitating networking opportunities and collaborations with overseas community organisations.
The visit was attended by the Bank’s Directors, General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Advisor, Head Office staff, and the Manager of the Founder Branch.
