Mangaluru: Following concerns raised by the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) about poor conditions at the Boliyar Government School, Field Education Officer Ishwar conducted an inspection on Sunday. The visit came in response to repeated appeals by DYFI urging immediate corrective measures to improve the learning environment.
During his visit, Officer Ishwar thoroughly examined the existing issues within the school premises. He assured the delegation that a detailed report would be prepared and submitted the same day to facilitate swift action and resolution of the problems.
Sudharani, the Development Officer of Boliyar Gram Panchayat, was also present during the inspection, joining local leaders and DYFI members in their demand for improvements. The DYFI was represented by its Ullal Taluk Secretary Rizwan Harekala, along with Vice Presidents Razak Mudipu, Rafiq Harekala, Ibrahim Madaka, Abubakar Jalli, Shamir Jaradagudde, and members Riyaz KB, Siddique KK, Shamshir OK, Niaz, Misbah, and Marshad.
DYFI members have been actively pushing for better facilities and maintenance at the government school, citing its deteriorating infrastructure as a major obstacle to students’ education. They emphasized that the condition of the school does not reflect the standards expected from public education institutions.
With the Education Officer’s prompt response and the local officials’ involvement, the community now awaits timely remedial measures that will enhance the learning environment for the students of Boliyar.
