Bantwal– A distressing incident was reported from Urimajalu, under the jurisdiction of Vittal police station, where a 42-year-old man was discovered dead after taking his own life.
The deceased has been identified as Ganesh Acharya (42), a resident of the locality who earned his livelihood through lighting work.
According to initial reports, on August 20, Ganesh allegedly fastened a rope to a tree near his residence and died by hanging.
He is survived by his wife and other family members, who are devastated by the sudden loss. Police officers from Vittal station visited the spot, collected preliminary details, and have begun an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
