Videos of the incident circulated on social media, showing the man being humiliated in various ways, including drinking a liquid believed to be urine and wearing a garland of shoes. He was also seen being beaten up by the woman he had reportedly eloped with. Another video showed him licking a slipper and putting one on his head.

The man appeared with half of his mustache and parts of his head shaved off in the videos, indicating the extent of the humiliation he endured.
