Los Angeles: Actor Matthew Perry, famous for his role as Chandler Bing on ‘Friends,’ has passed away at 54. He was discovered dead in his Los Angeles home, found in a hot tub, with no drugs found at the scene, according to reports.
Perry was best known for his long-term role as Chandler in the massively successful NBC comedy “Friends,” which aired for ten seasons from 1994 to 2004, co-starring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, and Lisa Kudrow.
All six castmates become international celebrities as they played a close-knit group of youths who shared space in one another’s apartments and met for coffee at the “Central Perk,” a fictional Manhattan Cafe.
Perry was a top-ranked junior tennis player before moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting and improvisational comedy.
