Leading a District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee meeting at the zilla panchayat hall, he noted that unusually heavy rains had damaged crops. He directed officials to submit precise assessments and initiate suitable relief measures promptly.

Deputy Commissioner G. Lakshmikant Reddy informed attendees that 95% of the land needed for the Mysuru-Kushalnagar National Highway-275 has been secured. Regarding the runway extension at Mysuru Airport, he explained that approximately 240 acres were essential and that most acquisitions were complete. The project is currently in the tender process.
