Bangalore:Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has said that the government will decide the future course of action in the murder of a 17-year-old girl in Ujire after the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) submitted the final report.
When presspersons asked Mr.Siddaramaiah here on Sunday about the demand from various quarters for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the case, he evaded a direct reply and said, “I do not like to speak much on that issue now as the CID is investigating the matter. The CID has also filed charge-sheet against the accused. The government can decide the future course of action only after the CID completed the probe and submitted the report,” he said.
Referring to the allegations against the family members of Dharmadhikari of Srikshetra Dharmasthala Veerendra Heggade in the case, Mr. Siddaramaiah said, “I have high regard for Dr. Heggade who has rendered a commendable service to society.”
