Dharmasthala :Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt visited the residence of Sowjanya at Pangala on October 19, Saturday afternoon and consoled the bereaved family members.
On this occasion, the parents of Sowjanya sought the blessings and co-operation of the seer in ensuring an impartial probe into the case of death of their dear daughter. Sowjanya’s uncle Vittal Gowda and grandfather Babu Gowda were also present.
Speaking to the media later, the seer said the probe into the Sowjanya rape and murder case should be up to the satisfaction of her parents. It does not matter even if there is a CID or a CBI probe, he said adding it was not proper on the part of the people to heed to rumours and offend the Dharmasthala Kshetra or people governing it.
