Kannada Sangha Bahrain organises Yaksha Vaibhava- 2015

Bahrain: Yaksha Vaibhava-2015 organised by Kannada Sangha Bahrain which was held at Cultural hall in Marina on September 11 came to a grand and successful close.


B S Bisht was the chief guest on the occasion. Kishan Hegde Bailoor, Ravi Karkeira member of the artist’s team from Saudi Arabia and Rajesh Shetty, president of Kannada Sangha were present on the dais.

Vice president of Kannada Sangha, R M Patil, Masa president Narendra Shetty and cultural secretary Sathish Bajal were also present.

Kanakangi Kalyana and Chitrakshi Kalyana were presented before a packed audience, with the participation of amateur artistes of the Sangha as well as guest artistes from Karnataka. Kishan Hegde and Ramesh Manjeshwar of Kannada Sangha were felicitated on the occasion.

Guest artists Ramakrishna Mayya, A P Patak, Balakrishna Maniyani, Deepak Pejawar, Karthik Chittani and Madhav Patali were also honoured with mementos.

Ramakrishna Mayya as Bhagavat, Siribagilu (guest artist), Maddale Anantha Padmanabha Patak (guest artist) and Dhananjaya Kinnigoli, Chende Shrinivas Prabhu (guest artist) and Chakratala Shridhar Yedaneeru and others made the show a grand success.

Kanakangi Kalyana- Deepak Rao Pejawara(guest artist), Balakrishna Maniyani Mavvaru as merchant, priest, Madhava Patali Yedaneeru as Ghatotkaja, Shrinivas Bhat Kalavaru as Krishna, Mohan Yedaneeru as as Abhimanyu, Ram Prasad Ammenadka as Balarama, Dommanna Rai as Sakha, Rajesh Mavinakatte as Kaurava, Sathish Kolya as Dushyasan, Shobha Ram Prasad as Subhadre, Jayaprakash Poojary Permude as Karna, Jagadish Jeppu as preist mesmerised with thier performance.

Chitrakshi Kalyana – Karthik Chittani as Rudrakopa, Deepak Rao Pejawar as Chitrakshi, Arun Irody as Raktajangha, Bhaskar Acharya as Raktakeshi, Kiran Upadhyaya as grandmother, H K Pai as Narada, Praveen Shetty Kinnigoli as Sathyasheele also performed.

Karunakara Padmashali, Rajesh Shettygar, Ashok Kateel, C L Mendon, Sathish Malpe, Suresh Chomanahalli, Varun Hegde, Ramesh Mandiyur, Jayaprakash Kollathadka and others helped in stage setting and other preparation.
