Dubai: The muhurtha for Dhwani’s latest drama “Wedding Album”, which will be staged during the Dhwani Cultural Fest 2020, was held in Dubai on October 25.
Director Prakash Rao Payyar welcomed the gathering and gave a brief description about the script, cast and plot.
Dubai’s senior theatre artistes Donald Correa and Prabhakar Kamath addressed the gathering.
The muhurtha was done symbolically by handing over the script to the artistes playing the lead roles Asha Correa and Prabhakar Kamath. Some of the artistes also read out some of the important scenes from the play.
Cultural secretary of Dhwani Arathi Adiga proposed a vote of thanks.
President of Sharjah Karnataka Sangha Anand Bailor, President of Kannadigaru Dubai Mallikarjuna Gowda, President of Basava Samiti Sathish Hindera, Sugand raj Bekal all members of Dhwani and the artistes were also present at the event.
The Dhwani Cultural Fest will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020 evening at the Emirates Theater, Jumeirah, Dubai.
