Muscat: For the third time in a row, the Muscat Chapter of the Institute of the Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has won the Best Chapter Award again, for 2018.
ICAI, which has been established as a specific approval of the Indian Council of Ministers under an MoU signed between the College of Banking and Financial Studies (CBFS), is the world’s second largest professional accounting body set up by a Legislation of Indian Parliament.
Aastha Rangan, the chairperson of the ICAI Muscat Chapter, received the award in New Delhi.
Speaking on the occasion of the 69th annual golden jubilee function of the ICAI in New Delhi, Bhavani Prasad, Chairperson, Muscat Chapter, ICAI, said that the firm was chosen for the award on the basis of quality and professional events, and it wants to dedicate the honour to the Chapter members.
Shah Nawaz Khan, Vice Chairman, Ramananda Prabhu, Treasurer, Muscat Chapter ICAI were also present during the occasion.
