Oman: Oman Tuluver, the renowned socio-sport entity of the entire Tulu speaking community of Oman has rolled out its fifth event “Oman Tuluver Family sports 2018”to be held on March 15, 16 and 23 at the Muscat Club Wadikabir.
After the super success of last year’s event, a record number of Tuluvas have registered this year, and are raring to show their sporting ability in team games namely Box Cricket, Volley Ball, Tug-of-War, Throw Ball that have been organised for both men and women.
The fixtures for the above event was conducted on March 2 at Hotel Udupi Home Hall MBD in the presence of enthusiastic captains and managers of all teams.
The fixtures event started with the lighting of the lamps with different community representatives following the Q&A session with Oman Tuluver organising team on formats and rules. The fixtures were conducted smoothly with the efforts of the Oman Tuluver Committee members.
The event concluded with a round of traditional Udupi snacks followed by a vote of thanks. Best wishes were extended to the participating teams and they were asked to upkeep the true sporting and Tuluva spirit at the games.
