Audi launches the new Audi RS7 facelift in India at a price of Rs 1.4 Crore (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The Audi RS7 will go up against the likes of the BMW M6 GranCoupe and the Porsche Panamera amongst others.
Audi has launched the facelifted version of the 2015 Audi RS7 Sportback in India at a price of Rs 1.4 Crore (ex-showroom, mumbai). Powered by a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo (TFSi), V8 producing 560PS of peak power and 700NM of peak torque, the 2014 Audi RS7 Sportback is a car that combines the best parts of an all-out sportscar to the practicality of a family sedan. Power is delivered by Audi’s trademark Quattro all-wheel-drive system through a 8-speed automatic gearbox.
The RS7 Sportback is based on the A7 sedan but features aggressive styling that includes a reworked front grille and bumper with a new set of LED headlights. The front grille features the same honeycomb-style grille that features in the likes of the Audi RS5. The highly detailed front bumpers that feature two large air intakes on either side give the 2014 Audi RS7 Sportback an aggressive stance and accentuate the sporty characteristics of the car. The tail lights of the new facelifted RS7 also get a redo with a new LED light design that has made itself through the Audi range making its presence felt in the RS7 too.
The Audi RS7 features 20-inch wheels shod with 275/35 R20 tyres that help put down all the power. The 2015 Audi RS7 Sportback also features a reworked rear bumper with the trademark RS-spec oblong exhausts on either side ensuring noises befitting a German Philharmonic Orchestra. Audi claims the RS7 can achieve a 0-100kmph time in just 3.9 seconds onto a limited top speed of 255kmph. The speed limiter can be deactivated on the request of the customer giving the 2014 Audi RS7 a top speed of 305kmph.
