Hyundai Elite i20 hatchback gears up its space amid rivals!

South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai has launched its new Elite i20 premium hatchback in the city yesterday in five variants.

This second generation model – i20 Elite – would compete with the Maruti Suzuki’s Swift, Volkswagen Polo, and Fiat Punto, Nissan Micra are at the least.

These are the following five variants – Era, Magna, Sportz, Sportz (O) and Asta.

Let’s start with the Era model: It is the base i20 variant with the low price and least features. Features such as AC, internally adjustable ORVM, front power windows, body colored bumper, gear shift indicator, full wheel cover, one touch triple turn signal, rear AC, arm-rest and utility box, and anti-submarine seats

Magna:
Apart of all Era features, its additional features are music system with one GB memory, four speakers with four tweeters, audio control in driver steering, Bluetooth connectivity with speaker, Aux-in and USB port, rear parking sensor, key less entry, rear AC vents, rear parcel tray, electricity adjustable ORVM.

Sportz:
Continuing Era and Magna features this variant includes ABS (anti-braking system), driver airbad, front fog lamp, CD player in audio, turn on indicator on ORVM, tilt steering, rear defogger with timer, FATC (fully automatic temperature control) cluster ionizer (this feature pulls up stink odor insider car and purifies air), and driver seat height adjustment.

Sportz (O):
Including all three above variants’ features, this segment come up with the R16, diamond cut alloys, smart key with push start, chrome inside door handle, and clutch lock.

Asta:
Combining the features of Era, Magna and Sportz (O), this variant will delight you with almost all the high-end traits likewise any upper model of hatchback fragment. Moreover, it has two passenger airbags, automatic head lamps, 60:40 split folding seats, supervision cluster, rear wiper as well as washer. This high-end variant can play five Bluetooth at one time, adaptive camera.

Besides, company claims a mileage of 18.6 kmpl in its petrol variant and 22.54 kmpl in its diesel variant.

Petrol model: power 83ps@6000rpm, 1.2 ltr, CC 1197, Torque 11.7kg@4000rpm, engine 82 bhp

Diesel model: 1.4 ltr, CC 1396, power 90ps@4000rpm, Torque 22.4kgm@1500~2750rpm, engine 90 bhp

Elite i20 comes up with the six plus gearbox, which is little effortless while its reverse gear was stiff to push in.
