In a heartbreaking incident in Haraguvalli, Shikaripura taluk, Shivamogga district, a one-and-a-half-year-old child, Nandish, died of suffocation after accidentally swallowing the cap of a juice bottle.
The incident occurred when Nandish, the son of Vedamurthy Gangadharaiah, was playing at home and swallowed the bottle cap, which got lodged in his throat and caused severe breathing difficulties. Despite being rushed to the hospital by his parents, medical experts declared him dead upon arrival.
The tragic accident has left the family and community in deep sorrow.
