Mangaluru: Mangaluru is gearing up to celebrate the 555th performance of the popular drama “Shivadute Gulige” on January 11 at 5 pm at Adyar Garden. Vinay Guruji, the avadhuta of Koppa Gourigadde, will be lighting the lamp at the celebratory program, as announced by senior stage actor Vijay Kumar Kodiyal Bail during a press conference.
The event will feature the presentation of the Vanitha Anand Shetty Award to senior journalist Paramananda Salian. Distinguished personalities such as veteran film director Rajendra Singh Babu, renowned actor Rakshit Shetty, music director Gurukiran, and anchor Anushree are expected to attend. Dr. M.N. Rajendra Kumar, Chairman of SCDCC Bank, will preside over the event, with Aikala Harish Shetty, President of the Federation of Global Bantar Associations, and other notable guests.
