Anish Tejeshwar made a big comeback to Sandalwood with ‘Akira’. After the success of the film, he is being extremely choosy with the scripts. He has now signed ‘Maanja’, which was recently launched by Yash. According to sources, the film was supposed to star Yash. However, due to Yash’s jam packed schedule, the film went to Anish.
Dr Suri, close associate of Yash marked his debut with Yash and Ramya-starrer ‘Lucky’. He was supposed to direct ‘Maanja’ with Yash. As Yash started to get big projects back to back, the film was kept on hold. Yash became a superstar in a short period of time. With this Dr Suri felt that if he has to make the film with Yash now, then many changes have to be made to suit Yash’s new found superstar status.
Yash suggested Dr Suri to approach Anish for the role, as he felt Anish is apt. With this Anish got the role. The shooting of the film will start in November. Deepa Sannidhi is playing the lead role in the film, which is being produced by S2 Entertainment.
