The much-awaited whodunit murder mystery “Anukta”, which was released on Friday, February 1, has opened to great response from the critics and audience. The film has been getting a good response from its very first show and it is now looking like Sandalwood has got another success this year.
The story of the film revolves around a double murder and has all the elements of a good thriller. It released in a decent number of screens across the state even after facing competition from “Bazaar”, which was released on the same day. The film’s morning show had a decent occupancy, which picked up by the evening thanks to good word of mouth publicity.
“Anukta” is written by lead actor Karthik Attavar and directed by Ashwath Samuel and produced by Harish Bangera under the banner of Deyi Production. Nobin Paul has worked on the background music. The film stars Sampath Raj, Anu Prabhakar, Karthik Attavar, Sangeetha Bhat, K S Sridhar, Usha Bhandary and Lakshmi Siddaiah in pivotal roles.
