Diganth, whose “Katheyondu Shuruvagide” released today, will be heading to Bollywood once again. A few years back, he had been part of the Hindi film “Wedding Pulav”. Unfortunately, the film flopped and he did not get many offers in Mumbai. But, he is now set for another Hindi film.
Popular Bollywood director Kunal Kohli, known for films like “Hum Tum” and “Fanaa”, has signed Diganth to play Rama in “Ramayan”. The film is an adaptation of the Ramayana. It will be done in a two-part series.
The film will be made along the lines of the HBO TV show “Game of Thrones”. Large amounts are being spent on the film’s graphics. The shoot is set to start in September. Details regarding the cast and crew will be officially announced soon.
