A three-day Puneethotsava programme has been organised in District. Actor Nikhil Kumaraswamy inaugurated the Puneethotsava programme at Pandava Stadium in Pandavapur Town of the District on Friday November 25.
Speaking after the inauguration Nikhil remembered late actors Puneeth and Ambarish. Puneeth was paid tribute by singing three songs. At this time, everyone gathered in front of the stage remembered Appu by turning the torch light on in their mobile phones.
A musical night programme was organised under the leadership of Singer Ananya Bhat. Bhat, who arrived on the stage with her team, was entertained by singing folk songs about Manteswamy Gita, Male Mahadeshwara Swami and Lord Shiva.
Apart from this, Actress Sonu Gowda and many TV actresses danced to well-known Kannada film songs that enthralled the audience.
The first-day Puneethotsava programme which was held for more than 3 hours was appreciated by all.
The Puneethotsava programme started in Pandavapura Town has succeeded in winning the hearts of the people. Along with the stage lit up with colourful electric lights, Appu flexes and banners were displayed and decorated everywhere in the Town to create a festive atmosphere.
