Prem made news for all good and bad reasons last year with – The Villain. The film received mixed reviews but ended up making money, thanks to the hype and combined star power of Sudeep and Shivarajkumar. At the success meet of the film, he had announced that he will be making a big budget entertainer with six heroes from different film industries as lead.
Prem was trolled for this in social media. He recently came out with a statement that the project is still on and as it is a big budget he needs more time for it. Meanwhile, he will be launching his brother-in-law Abhishek Rao in a new film.
The film will be a musical love story on lines of Prem’s Excuse Me, which released in 2003. The film will also have a new heroine from Karnataka. Arjun Janya is composing music for the film. The film will be produced by Prem’s wife Rakshitha and will be launched on her birthday on March 31.
