The magnum opus, “KGF” has not only taken Sandalwood by storm but other film industries as well. The Yash-starrer is releasing pan-India on December 21 and it looks like it will clash with Shah Rukh Khan-starrer “Zero”. Now, even in Karnataka, it looks like “KGF” will not have a solo release.
According to sources, R Chandru plans to release “I Love You” on the same day as “KGF”. The Upendra-starrer is almost complete and the makers are planning to release it on December 21, to take advantage of the holiday season. Two years ago, Yash and Upendra had clashed at the box office with “Santhu Straight Forward” and “Mukunda Murari”. It looks like history will repeat itself.
It would be great if “KGF” gets a solo release date, as the film is made on a huge budget. Upendra and Yash are also good friends, so industry insiders are sure that the films will not clash with each other. Let us wait for an official confirmation from the makers of “I Love You”.
