Popular music director V Harikrishna has turned director with Darshan-starrer “Yajamana”. Confused? Well, henceforth, V Harikrishna will share the title of director along with Pon Kumar for the film. “Yajamana”, which is produced by Harikrishna’s audio company D Beats partner Shylaja Nag and B Suresha, requested Harikrishna to share the credit as director, as he was involved in the whole process of the film.
Harikrishna has not only scored the film’s music, but has also been involved in the story writing, screenplay, dialogues along with Chethan Kumar, and has even taken up the directorial responsibilities of the film, which is now in the post-production stage.
His first film as music director was “Jothe Jotheyalli”, which was made under Darshan and his brother Dinakar’s banner ‘Thoogudeepa Productions’. The audio label D Beats, owned by Harirkishna and Shylaja Nag, had their first release in the form of Darshan-starrer “Bulbul”. The D in D Beats also refers to Darshan.
