Chikkamagaluru: While Sandalwood actor Kiccha Sudeep is facing the Income Tax Department’s investigation, another legal battle has resurfaced. It’s the rent issue of the land acquired for the shooting of the serial titled “Varasdhara” made under the production house owned by Sudeep.
The coffee estate owner Deepak Mayur Patel on Thursday, January 17 has filed a complaint in the Mallandur Police Station, where he had previously filed a complaint on the same issue for not paying the rent towards the house and the estate.
The serial was shot in Begur village of the district.
Deepak has filed a complaint stating that he had received a threat call from a person named Naveen, to take back the case filed on Sudeep.
