It looks like Kannada films are in a hurry to get their film released in January first week. With two Telugu big films expected to release in the second week of January, Kannada film makers are trying to get their films released as soon as possible. 
Shivarajakumar starrer ‘Srikanta’ is scheduled to release on January 6. The film will be released alongside with Ramesh Aravind’s 100th film ‘Pushpaka Vimana’.
‘Srikanta’ is written and directed by Manju Swaraj and Manu Gowda is the producer of the film. Chandini Sridharan who has acted in a few Malayalam films is the heroine of the film and apart from Shivarajakumar and Chandini, Vijay Raghavendra plays a prominent role in the film. Ajaneesh Lokanath is the music director.
