Just as honey is beneficial for health, it has beauty properties as well. Honey has exfoliating properties that can relieve dead skin if used on the face. It makes the skin of the face radiant. After washing the face, apply pure honey or unpasteurised honey on the face and leave it on the skin for several minutes and then wash it off to enhance the glow of the face.
The face pack can be prepared in several ways with honey. To do that, squeeze a cup of papaya, add about 1-2 tablespoons of honey to it, make a smooth paste and apply it as a thick layer on the face. Leave it for about 15-20 minutes and then wash it off with cold water. This pack gives the face a glow in a very short period of time.
When honey and tomatoes are mixed together and applied on the skin for 10 minutes everyday, the size of the pores on the face can be reduced. Making honey exfoliation removes dead skin and allows the skin to breathe easily. One of the easiest exfoliators that can be made at home is to mix lemon juice, sugar and honey and apply it on the face and wash the face with lukewarm water after strobing the skin. It cleans the pores deeper, removes dead skin and gives a glow to the skin.
Add a teaspoon of lemon juice to a teaspoon of honey to the skin darkened due to sunlight and apply the mixture on the face and wash the face after the pack is dry to give good results.
To get the skin colour glowing, add a teaspoon of honey to a tablespoon of gram flour, a little turmeric powder and apply the mixture on the face and wash the face after drying. It is best to do this twice a week. You will get the desired result.
