Maddur Vade Recipe is a very popular savoury fritter that originated from a town called Maddur in the Mandya District of Karnataka.
It is made usually from semolina, rice flour and whole wheat flour and is flavoured and spiced with some curry leaves, onions and green chillies. The dough is pat on the hand and deep fried, it can also be served with peanut chutney and coconut chutney.
Maddur Vadas are known for their unique, crispy texture and flavorful, spicy taste. This vada is deep-fried. Any food that is deep-fried is not suitable for healthy living.
Though fried items are delicious, it can lead to health implications. Fried snacks are high in calories and fat which can lead to heath issues like cholesterol, obesity ect. Eating fried food at times if okay for our health, however, it shouldn’t excced a certain limit.
