Life is all about meeting new people, getting into relationships, falling in love, breaking and parting. These are important aspects that take place over the course of our lives and are quite inevitable. You can’t stop yourself from meeting new and wonderful people and sometimes mean people as well. You can’t hold yourself from falling in love and sometimes you can’t stop situations that would lead you to break and part. These are the things that happen in every soul living on the earth.
Our life on the earth is a long journey and while we travel we come across so many different people and situations that can shape and change us into new beings. Sometimes this journey is a journey down the wilderness, at times a journey through the winds and yet at other times a journey through lush green fields. We have to live up to the goods and bads in the society we live in and challenge it boldly. As we make it down the lane we encounter many different people, hardships, sorrows and pain but all these have to be. They are all part of life as humps and curves are common on roads.
Meeting people is one of the most important parts of this journey. It is only when we encounter people that our life sees meaning in what it is. It adds flavour and fragrance to the life we have to live. Sometimes we meet up with people resembling our likes and ways and yet at other times, we meet people who are different from the crowd. It is important that we meet both the kinds of people for a better understanding of life. We live our lives on the earth not just to enjoy the company of the good ones but also to cope up with the tough ones and learn from people who are different from us. All along we have to face everything that comes on our path and press forward smiling and glowing. The joy of living comes when we meet people, share our heart and cry out our deepest sorrows and laugh out our problems. Therefore encounters are as important as anything else in the world. They are equal to food for the body and air for breathing. Though not connected directly when we meet people, encounter different souls our life changes to a great extent.
On the other hand even as we travel down this path we get intimate towards some, bonds grow stronger and sometimes we travel to the end with some people we meet as we journey down. Encounters can be sudden, unexpected, planned and sometimes it all just happens as the days go by. Many a time we grow closer and inseparable from some that we don’t realize how and why and when it all happened. It’s wonderful to look back at our journey and realize how near and inseparable we have become with some people whom we met just yesterday and how much we have distanced ourselves for people who were with us right from the beginning of our days. That’s the way of life. It is confusing, peculiar the way it takes turns and curves and ends up leaving is in awe when we think about the journey we have taken so far. It’s not a matter to be thought about always but sometimes when you think over and over about the paths we have taken, the people we have met, the fights we have had, the breakups we have had, the love with which we loves some and the way of the heart that resembled with some we are definitely fascinated with the road life has decided to take up for us. Looking back there are possibilities in everybody’s life that we aren’t with the people whom. We have trusted and loved right from the beginning. We start off with some and end up being with somebody else whom we met yesterday, probably just across the street and the very next second you are friends and a few days later you are looking forward to spending more time with the same person.
But ultimately it doesn’t matter how we meet or who we meet or when we meet, what matters is how deep love and trust goes between people. Knowing a person for long wouldn’t write stories of love, friendship and bonds between them. All that matters is the conjoining of the hearts and minds in the right way and that doesn’t demand long days and nights and years of watching, it only just requires trust and faith.
As we walk down this road it is inevitable but we have to face all kinds of people but it is important we realize our role to be played in this life and when you play your role well you get the contentment and relief in the life you are living. Encountering people is one of the most glorious events in the journey down the road and it is up to us to play our roles well enough to let stay what has to stay and let go what has to go.
