Making knowledge important in a woman’s life involves learning helpful skills and thinking of practical solutions as well as a feeling of fulfillment and richness.
Both wisdom and knowledge are said to improve with age, as in a woman knows more at age 20 than at age 10, or is wiser at age 50 than she was at age 25. Time and knowledge, however, are directly related in a different way than wisdom.
Most people believe that knowledge comes from learning and education, whereas wisdom is gained from day-to-day experiences and is a state of being wise. While wisdom is the practical skill to keep making wise decisions in life, knowledge is only the clarity of facts and truths. Facts are discovered through learning.
One who has great knowledge of a particular field, such as Science or History, is said to be knowledgable. A person’s understanding of a subject can be enhanced with the use of information found in books or digitally. Wisdom is the capacity to see the facts of a matter, in light of any illusions or distractions; it emerges from observing experiences and learning from them in a way that influences future decisions.
