Skye Air, India’s cutting-edge drone logistics network, has launched its high-speed delivery service in Bengaluru, making it the second city after Gurugram to embrace advanced aerial shipping. Residents in Konankunte and Kanakapura Road will soon receive packages in just seven minutes, marking a major leap in urban delivery efficiency.
The company stated that drone-powered logistics will reshape Bengaluru’s e-commerce and rapid delivery sector, ensuring faster, eco-friendly, and more efficient services. Skye Air currently serves major clients like Bluedart, DTDC, Shiprocket, and Ecom Express, with plans to enter the food delivery space soon.
“Our expansion into Bengaluru is a testament to the increasing demand for sustainable, high-speed logistics. Each drone flight is not just about efficiency—it’s about creating a cleaner, smarter future,” said Ankit Kumar, CEO of Skye Air.
The service operates through Skye Ship One, a flagship drone that carries up to 10 kg per trip. It flies within a 120-metre-high air corridor, avoiding traffic congestion. Upon arrival, it deploys the Skye Winch system, gently lowering packages to designated drop zones before returning. The process is completed in under seven minutes.
Beyond speed, Skye Air’s drones significantly cut carbon emissions, potentially saving 3,100 metric tonnes of CO₂ annually, equivalent to planting 150,000 trees.
