According to the New York Post, a Russian businessman with a Philadelphia address won an autographed pair of Donald Trump’s new golden sneakers with a bid of $9,000 (roughly Rs 7,47,256). Notably, the former US President debuted his sneaker line, “Trump Sneakers,” on Saturday at the “Sneaker Con” gathering in Philadelphia.
After placing the winning bid at the event, Roman Sharf, the founder and CEO of luxury watch dealer Luxury Bazaar, left with an autographed pair of Trump’s golden “Never Surrender high-tops.” Social media users have seen videos of Mr. Sharf winning the auction and then proudly displaying the golden sneakers.
”We are going to have a winning celebration come this November, and I’ll be wearing these one-of-one Donald Trump-signed sneakers—the only president I recognized the last four years,” he said.

Supporter of Trump Mr. Sharf later revealed on social media that he intends to eventually give the shoes to his kids. He wrote on X, “But for now will display in the office.”
The shoe cost $399 and had an American flag detail on the back. It was reported that within two hours of their release, all 1000 pairs of the shoes were sold out.
Interestingly, Mr. Sharf left the Soviet Union when he was a teenager. Currently residing in Philadelphia, he identifies himself as “one of the largest grey market watch dealers in the world,” dealing in high-end timepieces “without being authorized by the brand to do so on their behalf.”
He told WatchPro that his company has hired around 30 people and earns approximately $130 million in sales each year. He also has a YouTube channel that has 4,36,000 subscribers and his most popular videos have been viewed over one million times.
