Udupi: The 125th annual Bhajana Saptah at Tenkapet Sri Lakshmi Venkatesa Temple witnessed a majestic celebration on its sixth day with elaborate floral decorations and devotional fervor.

On Monday, a grand adornment was offered to Lord Sri Lakshmi Venkatesa Deva, accompanied by Sridevi and Bhudevi. The temple deities were beautifully decorated in vibrant floral arrangements, creating a divine ambiance inside the sanctum and the bhajana hall.

The ceremonial pujas were carried out with devotion by the temple’s chief priests, Shri Vinayak Bhat and Shri Dayagan Bhat, who meticulously arranged the traditional décor and rituals.

Thousands of devotees gathered to participate in the auspicious Maha Ranga Puja, where they received the darshan of the deity in his special alankara (decorated form). The spiritual atmosphere, enhanced by the devotional singing and prayer offerings, captivated the hearts of the attendees.

The entire premises were decked with an assortment of fresh flowers, reflecting a blend of culture, tradition, and religious dedication. The special day saw active involvement from members of the temple’s management committee, along with enthusiastic participation from GSB Yuvaka Mandali and GSB Mahila Mandali, who helped organize and manage the proceedings.

The week-long celebration continues to draw large crowds, reaffirming the deep-rooted spiritual connection of the devotees with this historic temple.
