Udupi: Adarsha Hospital, in collaboration with the Adarsha Charitable Trust, will host a felicitation ceremony and free medical camp on Saturday, July 6, to mark Doctor’s Day. The event will take place from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the hospital premises.
The event aims to recognize the contributions of dedicated healthcare professionals and provide accessible health services to the public.
Noted medical professionals including Dr N R Rao, Dr Nagaratna B Shastri (district surveyor), Dr Sri Ram Rao (family welfare officer), Dr Vasudev Upadyay (taluk health officer), Dr Prashant Bhat (malaria eradication officer), Dr Shashikiran Achar Bailur, and Dr Bhavani Shankar Padubidri will be felicitated for their outstanding and selfless service in the field of medicine.
MLA Yashpal Suvarna will inaugurate the programme. The event will also see the presence of former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake, Additional Deputy Commissioner Abid Gadyal, District Health Officer Basavaraj Hubballi, and Adarsha Hospital CEO Vimala Chandrashekar, as informed by Medical Director Dr G S Chandrashekar.
The free medical camp will offer services such as Complete Blood Count (CBC), blood sugar, cholesterol tests, liver scans, and cardiac evaluations including TMT and heart scanning, based on doctors’ recommendations.
