Udupi: As part of the ongoing Crime Prevention Month, the Udupi Police Department held meetings with water sports operators across the district, emphasizing safety protocols.

During the sessions, officials underscored the mandatory use of life jackets for both tourists and employees involved in water sports activities. Operators were also instructed to adopt stringent precautionary measures to ensure participant safety and prevent any mishaps.

These initiatives are part of a broader effort by the Udupi Police to enhance safety standards and security in the district’s thriving water sports sector.
