Elsewhere, Israeli settlers attacked the Palestinian Christian village of Taybeh in the occupied West Bank, setting vehicles ablaze and vandalizing property with hate messages in Hebrew. The Palestinian Authority condemned the incident as “settler terrorism,” echoed by Germany’s ambassador to Israel, who called the attackers “criminals.”
With international pressure mounting, France and Saudi Arabia are co-hosting talks in New York to revive the two-state peace process.
