German-born Hollywood actor Christian Oliver lost his life along with his two daughters in a plane crash over the Caribbean Sea. The small, privately-owned aircraft, carrying Oliver, daughters Madita (10) and Annik (12), and pilot Robert Sachs, crashed shortly after takeoff while en route from Bequia to St Lucia.

The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force confirmed the incident, stating that all four bodies were recovered by fishermen, divers, and the coast guard who rushed to the scene. The family, seemingly on vacation, had shared moments from their trip on social media.
Christian Oliver, 51, had an extensive career with over 60 movie and TV credits, featuring in notable productions such as “The Good German” with George Clooney and “Speed Racer” in 2008. His early-career roles included appearances in the TV series “Saved by the Bell: The New Class” and the movie “The Baby-Sitters Club.” The actor also had a minor part in Tom Cruise’s “Valkyrie.” The tragic incident has left the entertainment industry in mourning.
