Islamabad: Former Prime Minister Imran Khan, currently incarcerated, asserted triumph in Pakistan’s recent general election via an AI-generated audio-visual message disseminated on his X social media platform on Friday.

In the message, Khan, traditionally communicating through his legal representatives, dismissed rival Nawaz Sharif’s prior declaration of victory. He urged his supporters to rejoice in the victory, achieved despite what he perceives as a concerted effort to suppress his party.
Despite Khan’s imprisonment and his party’s disqualification from the electoral process, independent candidates supported by him secured the majority of seats in Thursday’s national election.
