Taylor Swift is set to compete in multiple categories at the 67th Grammy Awards, where her eleventh album The Tortured Poets Department has earned six nominations. One of the most prestigious recognitions she’s up for is Album of the Year, where she could make history by winning the top honor for the fifth time, surpassing her own record set last year with her album Midnights.
In addition to Album of the Year, Taylor is nominated in five other categories, including:
- Best Pop Vocal Album
- Record of the Year
- Song of the Year
- Best Music Video
- Best Pop Duo / Group Performance (with Gracie Abrams)
If Taylor wins Album of the Year this year, she will hold the record for the most wins in this category, having already won four times for her albums Midnights, Folklore, 1989, and Fearless. She ties with music legends Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, and Paul Simon for three wins, but her ongoing dominance in this category sets her apart.
This year’s Album of the Year category is highly competitive, with other nominees like Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter, Sabrina Carpenter’s Short and Sweet, and Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the 2025 Grammys, which will take place on February 2 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The event will be hosted by Trevor Noah for the fifth consecutive year, and the first wave of performers includes Chappell Roan, Billie Eilish, Charli XCX, Doechii, Raye, Benson Boone, Teddy Swims, Sabrina Carpenter, and Shakira, among others.
Stay tuned to see if Taylor Swift adds another Grammy to her collection!
