Bengaluru: Well-known journalist, Hi Bengaluru weekly tabloid editor Ravi Belagere is no more. He died after a massive heart attack on the early hours of Friday at a private hospital.
He was 62-years-old.
He is survived by two wives and four children.
According to the sources, he suffered massive heart attack at his residence on Kanakapura road on Thursday night. He was rushed to a private hospital where he breathed his last.
His final rites will be held today. His mortal remains will be kept at his school in Basavanagudi for public homage.
He was born in Ballari in the year 1958. A MA graduate, he worked for many media houses before starting his own tabloid Hi Bengaluru.
He also produced several telivison programmes.
