Kaggalipura police have arrested three young men accused of attacking and robbing a factory owner late Monday night near Kengeri.
The 27-year-old victim, Mohsin Pasha, who runs a plastic granule factory, had gone out to buy food for his employees when he was ambushed near Pintoo Bar at Thagachakuppe village around 10.30 pm.
Police said four men riding two motorcycles stopped Pasha and picked a quarrel, accusing him of staring at them. During the altercation, one of the attackers stabbed him with a knife. They then fled the scene with ₹14,000 in cash and his mobile phone.
Pasha’s brother and a relative rushed him to a private hospital, where the incident was reported as a medico-legal case. A police complaint was formally registered early Tuesday around 2 am.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Irfan, Rizwan, and Muzhadin Khan, all aged between 22 and 25 and residents of Kengeri. According to investigators, the trio were first-time offenders.
Police are still searching for the fourth accomplice. A case has been filed under sections related to causing hurt during robbery and robbery with intent to cause death or grievous injury.
