  • Arrests: Two individuals were arrested in connection with the theft of 35 gold ornaments from a house within the Mandi police limits on June 13. The suspects admitted involvement in five house thefts and two vehicle theft cases.
  • Seizures: Authorities recovered gold ornaments worth Rs 24.2 lakh, 156 grams of silver ornaments, and two cars.
  • Investigation: A department staff member is under investigation for allegedly aiding the accused in selling the stolen goods.

  • Recoveries: Gold ornaments worth Rs 15 lakh and 1 kg of silver were recovered.

Vijayanagar Police:

  • Arrest: A person was arrested for bike theft. He was caught riding a bike without a number plate, leading to the discovery of his involvement in two bike theft cases.
  • Seizures: Two stolen bikes valued at Rs 70,000 were recovered.
