The romance rumors involving Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have been making headlines for some time now. Ranbir Kapoor appears to have verified his connection with Rashmika while she is busy promoting her forthcoming movie Animal during a recent excursion.
Starring alongside Nandamuri Balakrishna, actor Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga made an appearance on the show Unstoppable with NBK.
A discussion regarding Vijay began during a part of the show where the movie posters for Arjun Reddy and Animal, two of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorials, were displayed on the screen. Sandeep and Rashmika were instructed by Nandamuri Balakrishna to select one film amongst Arjun Reddy and Animal. Asking Rashmika to choose between her “real hero” (a reference to Vijay) and her “reel hero” (a reference to himself), Ranbir began to torment her.
Nandamuri asked Sandeep to phone Vijay after Rashmika declined to take part, but the actor didn’t answer. Rashmika blushed when Ranbir said, “Sir, let Rashmika call; Vijay won’t pick (Sandeep’s) call.”
On the set, Ranbir asked for Rashmika’s phone and requested that she give it to him. Though Vijay ultimately gave Sandeep a call back, he did not answer Rashmika’s phone either.
Following the exchange of greetings, Rashmika picked up the phone. Vijay greeted Rashmika and inquired, “What’s up, re?” With a flush, Rashmika responded, “Good,” and alerted Vijay that he was speaking.
After that, Vijay responded, “Bala sir loves Rashmika,” to which Ranbir stated, “Vijay, Bala sir is getting jealous.” Everyone was shocked when Balakrishna and Radshmika asked Vijay who he loved, including the actor Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Vijay was then informed by Ranbir that Rashmika had to select between the posters of Arjun Reddy and Animal. Rashmika responded to this by saying, “I like both of them because Animal is my film and I have a connection with Arjun Reddy because I watched Arjun Reddy on the first day of its release.”
Rashmika blushed when Balakrishna and Ranbir questioned her about the link.
“Sir, there is a coincidence that Sandeep met Rashmika for the first time at Arjun Reddy’s success party on Vijay’s terrace,” continued Ranbir. Rashmika responded, “It’s not necessary to give all this information,” after becoming stunned by this.
“So much natural blush came,” said Ranbir, gesturing to Rashmika, once the call ended. Although rumors about Rashmika and Vijay’s romance have been around for a while, the couple has not commented on them.
Ranbir and Rashmika’s film Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is set to release on December 1.
