More than 300 delegates from South India participated in the conference. It was inaugurated by Dr H.S Ballal, Pro-Chancellor, MAHE, Manipal and Dr Unnikrishnan B Dean, Kasturba Medical College Mangalore was the guest of honour. Other dignitaries present were Dr G Arun Maiya Dean, Manipal College of Health professions, Dr Nita Varghese, Head of the program and Anju T, organizing secretary of the conference.

They play an important role in treating, rehabilitating and improving the lives of the patients. In emergency conditions, complications can arise anytime, and allied health professionals must be prepared for them. Through this conference, we aim to help Anesthesia technologists to handle emergencies and manage different complications that may arise”
