Mangaluru: Milagres Institutions on January 26 celebrated the 75th Republic Day. Students and faculty of the CBSE, High School, PUC and Degree sections assembled for the day. Dylan Rebello CA, Management Member, was the chief guest for the day.
Rev Fr Michael Santhumayor, the campus Director, presided over the function. Melwin Vas, the principal of the PUC Section, Beulah Rego High School headmaster, and Rev. Fr Udaya Fernandes, the principal of the MSC section were present on the dais.
The chief guest Dylan Rebello unfurled the National Flag to the singing of the National Anthem by the gathering. In his message, he said that there is a need for a country like ours to work hand in hand and live up to the expectations of the Constitution. The president, Fr Michael Santhumayor in his message said that it is necessary that every human being respects each other, for only then every citizen can respect the nation. A nation can grow when there is unity among all of them. He wished all on this occasion.
A patriotic song was sung by the students, the invocation was led by the students. Glancia Fernandes Degree Staff proposed the vote of thanks.
