They say that the best of friendships begin when you are young, but what shall we say about a fight that began in the classroom on the 28th of January soon led to a full on assault and near death of a seventeen year old boy who was falsely accused of having stolen a bike?
Anger, hostility and jealousy soon led to a whole scene of violence at the Vidya Coaching Centre in Brahmavar, Udupi.
The accused, now identified as Suhas, was known to have made a phone call to his friend Tarun, somewhere around 12:30 probably in the hope of bringing over an ally, who soon arrived at the spot to confront the victim, Pratheek.
What began as a mere verbal abuse soon led to a full on attack causing the near death of the boy who was stabbed in the stomach and left hip.
This clearly calls for a case. The culprit surely has broken various sections of the Indian Penal code, namely 144, 147, 148, 323, 324, 504, 307 and 149. The list is quite long, and one can hardly imagine the two escaping the consequences.
In the end, we can only be glad that the incident hasn’t led to murder for their sake and more so for the poor victim who happened to find himself involved in the case.
