The Women’s Hockey Team of St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Mangaluru, won the Runners up title at VTU Single Zone Hockey Tournament held at Siddaganga Institute of Technology (SIT), Tumkur, on 20th April 2019.
On the way to this feat, SJEC won their Quarter Final against NMAMIT, Nitte, by 2-1 on penalties and Semi Final against KLE University, Belagavi, by 2-0,g the going do finals against CMRIT, Bengaluru, by a margin of 0-1.
The management of St Joseph Engineering College is proud of this achievement and congratulates the Women’s Hockey Team and the Department of Physical Education along with the Coach, Mr Mark Rosario, on their outstanding efforts.
