Mangaluru: Yenepoya University, one of the premier Universities of Karnataka, today announced the launch of a unique Edtech, Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Program that allows students to pursue an online degree while working as an apprentice/intern with a corporate at the same time. Students can choose from several apprenticeship-embedded UG and PG programs that help them to develop professional skills alongside academic knowledge. The experience and qualifications gained during the training make an apprentice ready to enter the workplace as a readily employable graduate. This program aims to enhance employability and bridge the academia-industry gap amongst the students.

Apprenticeship embedded degree programs allow students the flexibility to learn from online lectures and live sessions from the University faculty, get trained by industry experts, work on live projects and also get a fixed monthly stipend.
