Mangaluru: An awareness programme on “Fire safety and Health Safety” was organized by First Neuro Hospital, Padil, on 24 June 2022 in Milagres Central School,
Resource person Sathyaraj explained the importance of conducting a fire and safety awareness programme. He explained different types of fire extinguishers, and what are the measures to be followed for the different kinds of fire outbreaks. He also demonstrated with the model how to rescue the victims of the fire outbreak and to give first aid. The opportunity was given to the students and faculty members to give first aid. An interaction session was held with the students to clarify their doubts. Lastly, a demonstration on extinguishing the fire was demonstrated to the students and faculty at the school grounds. Chance was given to the students and staff members to operate different types of fire extinguishers. It was an enriching session.
A health checkup was done for the Milagres Central School faculty by Rakshitha, staff nurse of First Neuro Hospital, Padil, Mangaluru. Sharmila K Welcomed the gathering and Ayesha Haneena proposed a vote of thanks.
The School Principal Rev. Fr Uday Fernandes and staff members were present for this programme. The session was concluded by presenting a bouquet of flowers as a token of appreciation.
