Mangaluru: MLA Vedavyas Kamath performed the bhoomipooja of the work on the under-construction Sri Jagajyothi Basaveshwara Community Hall in the 26th Derebailu South West Ward of Mangaluru City Corporation limits.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that as promised earlier to the community leaders for the construction of Jagajyothi Basaveshwara Community Hall, a grant of Rs.75 Lakh has been released. MLA Kamath said that the Government grant has been released with the cooperation of Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary. He hoped that in the coming days, the community hall would work for the benefit of the peopleof the community.
