Mangaluru: Pontiff of Kashi Mutt Samsthan Shree Samyamindra Theertha Swamiji who is on a camp at the Sri Venkataramana Swamy Temple, Someshwara had handed over the newly crafted silver palanquin to the temple administration along with 108 silver kalash’s on Wednesday, November 27.
The palanquin was handed over for the utsav of Lord Sri Venkataramana Swamy and Lord Sri Kodandarama.
It has been handed over on the ‘Punyatithi’ of the 17th Pontiff of Shree Bhuvanendra Theertha Swamiji.
Abhishekam and Havans were performed ritualistically.
Later, in the evening, Bhuvanendra Theertha’s photo was taken on a procession in the streets of Someshwara.
On Thursday, November 28, ‘Mudradharane’ was initiated by Samyamindra Theertha.
